why would we laugh? cooking is a great hobby. my son is nearly done with culinary school and starts his internship in new orleans in a few months.. if he makes it out alive from that shithole hes excited to start his career. its a difficult career though with long undesirable hours. i guess if youre really good you can rise above all that but i sure wouldnt call it an easy career
i admire your masonry skills,. i can do a little of everything but nothing really well. i built my deck and kitchen addition but id love to have an oven like that somewhere. last time i tried tuckpointing some planters i have it was a joke. its staying together but kinda hacked looking

looks good and smells good, but you have to be so careful around it! its really easy to mark up and scratch and ding the hell out of!

Looks nice, I don't see smooth cedar too often and it looks good.

Trex sucks BTW, its nothing like real wood.

not sure what you are asking "trex?".
Not sure how much good a 'dore' will do you but a door would be nice. And trex is the plastic/wood composite decking, I thought you were using it at first, from the looks of the pictures.

He is asking if that is trex decking. It looks more like reclaimed redwood to me

Glad to see it is 2x8 it looked kinda like 2x6 which is under structured for any floor structure use.

    Good Job !! Nice work...
