    I personally hate scream-core bands too. Thats why I love power metal, Helloween for instance. The first singer is an insanely good singer who can hit amazing highs and still sound satanic for other versus, He now sings for Gamma Ray and the new helloween singer is still really good.     I've heard of one of those. I haven't been paying much attention to new metal. Sometimes I'll find something I like, like Dark Fortress.
