    Firefox used to open super slow for me too, it's the add-ons that fuck everything up. Since I re-installed my OS (hard drive took a shit) Firefox has opened just fast fast as Chrome.

    Funny thing is it didn't seem to matter that I deleted or disabled prety much every add-on before it was still slow as fuck.

    firefox takes about 30 seconds to load on my work computer, chrome takes about 3.

    Im sure it takes longer benchmarked on any machine. Firefox isnt nearly as lightweight as Chrome.
