That documentary is REALLY cool. It shows the mentality of US car makers have taken over the last 30 years.

Josh, do you really want more competition on the unskilled & semi-skilled job market front?

I'm not going to go as far as to say I favor printing off money and handing it out to everyone, but watching a lot of these hearings, it is really frustrating to see how congress thinks they are dealing with 1995 era detroit vs 2008. It shows how clueless those putzes are we have in office. There have been serious reorginzations and new standards put in place over the past 5 years, and the big 2.5 were actually looking pretty good prior to this collapse.

Of course, seeing most of the responses in this thread so far, they may be fairly representative.

Bush already said they will just tap into the bailout money already approved if the bill dies completely. They are still going to get the money

The Flex actually gets pretty good gas mileage for a vehicle of its size, and is based off of the Volvo S80 platform. Build quality is actually quite nice on the vehicle.

    Try again.

Seriously! They were playing christmas music in walmart the day after Halloween, HALLOWEEN!

Seriously though, fuck Chrysler. And this is coming from a guy who still owns the original Viper sales brochure.

I like how they keep releasing concepts, and everyone goes "wow that's pretty cool", then they release the final design and it's NOTHING like what people liked.

I think the big 3 should merge and dump all the shitty brands. They should do some serious restructuring and actually start making quality, environmentally friendly vehicles for the 21st century.
