yep, and this goes on in more countries than just Iraq. but where is there salvation? where is their "bail out"? id prefer that our troops were here back in the states doing what all other countries do, defending itself. not sending out troops abroad to finish off a vendetta that daddy started and failed at. at least he was smart enough to pull everyone home after he figured out his screw up. ive felt this way from the beginning and will continue to feel this way till everyone is home. its to bad that quite a few troops wont get that option, quite a few thousand actually.

i understand your point about going to a vet hospital. but unfortunately thats the benefit of living here i can think opposite of what anyone else does and not be persecuted for it. but its not the "war in iraq" that gave me that right.

They hate us because we are not Muslims.

Non-Muslims - Infidels who must die.

Jihad = Holy War. It's not hard to figure it out.

Or do they hate us because we are "puppets of Israel?" :hitler:

Bush Fucked Iraq, it went from bad to ugly in Iraq . people can't afford to buy food, drink, they can't even afford to buy somthing new to their childrens .

If you see how the American soldiers treat Iraqi's , and kids you will never want to live in Iraq anymore. They treat Childrens so badly, they even hit some of them.

At least when saddam was a President , people used to go out , stay late , party , and do things like other regular people do . Now people are just sitting at home doing nothing . They can't even go outside . Someone told me that , they say good bye ,as they say it for the last time to thier families. It like you going out and saying that i might not comming back again ??can you imagine how that feels when you tell someone like your mother, father , etc somthing like that ? now a days people in iraq will do eveything for money , they simply have no jobs , no government to offer jobs , help for its people . Most of Iraqi's wish they could get out of Iraq and start up a new life .

so what i am saying my friend is that , don't beleive in what you see in or you hear these days . its totally different world over there. i can't imagine anything positive Bush did .Look what he did to his country?? i am pretty sure the economy is fucked in America , because of the war he got his people into . Instead of spending this huge amount of money and becoming a hero to the world he should of kept his Superman "ego" and avoided The tough lost to both sides.

i could go more and more man. i just feel bad for Iraq This country never saw a sense of happiness . Its like a huge dark cloud over this country and doesn't want to move on
Yeah, things were just dandy when Hussein was in charge...

The big question remains what was achieved. Did the death toll was reduced? What about that so shinny democracy that the war was suposed to bring? The crisis has exploded since the invasion. All the reasons for going at war have proved unfounded. Especially that if the war was for securing oil, then it failed too. The ennemy is in Wall Street. And the current violence between Irakkis is religious. Same with Afgahnistan. And no "war for democracy" can fix it.

There are 2300% more civilian deaths than the Bush administration admitted. So what's the benefit for civilian. Democracy in heaven? What about the "terrorists"? Well, they just travel around. Now, a lot of them are in Pakistan, which is a US-supported country. What an epic fail.

Ironically, the people he would've wanted to kill the most are the people that most opposed his demise.

Like I said, spend a weekend volunteering at a VA hospital and talk to soldiers who were there instead of reading the writings of left-wing keyboard jockey's.

But since you opposed taking out a murderous tyrant like Hussein and his sons while supporting Muslims attacking the POTUS, we already know where you stand...

You've never heard the Commander in Chief referred to as "CIC" nor have you heard the President of the United States referred to as the "POTUS"?

BTW, I would be saying the same whether it's Obama, Bush, Carter, Clinton, etc...

It's not a left vs. right issue for me, it's about the Office of the President, although it is for others who have "BDS" and would rather politicize the war then win it just because they are filled with hate and ignorance.

I don't want some Islamofascist throwing shoes at the "POTUS" regardless of who he is, Democrat or Republican, for the reasons described above.

But some people are too blinded by hate and are too myopic to see the big picture.

Let me put it in terms for the ignorant so they can understand:

I, like many other Americans have family members and friends in Iraq and Afghanistan being shot at by AQ on a daily basis. Bullets, IED's, fanatics strapped with explosives, etc...

When ignorant people cheer an America-hating Muslim for throwing shoes at the US CIC, it emboldens these assholes who are trying to kill our soldiers, and also lowers the morale of our soldiers. And it also speaks volumes about your ignorance.

AQ also uses your ignorant comments for propaganda and recruiting purposes.

I'm sure you would have had a good laugh had one or both shoes hit our CIC, but our soldiers laying down their lives wouldn't think it was so funny, and AQ would use it as propaganda to recruit more members in their plan to kill us "infidels" - Bush haters included.

My hope is that those of you who were hoping that either one or both shoes would hit their intended target are just young, immature kids who don't know any better yet, as that is the only excuse for the stupidity displayed here on this thread.

What else would explain the fact that you're hoping that an America-hating, Islamic fascist would hit the POTUS/CIC with a thrown object?

That could have easily been a grenade and had it exploded and took out the President, our CIC, would you think it was funny if that happened?

It would do wonders for the morale of AQ, while damaging the morale of our troops who are there laying their asses on the line to kill as many members of AQ, who are on the defensive instead of the offensive and are fighting for their lives instead of planning another attack on the US, London, Spain, Bali, etc...and forces them to use their resources on fighting us instead of obtaining nukes and as mentioned, planning and executing further attacks.

How about some of you go and volunteer at a VA hospital one weekend and talk to some of the soldiers who were actually in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I bet you that you would have an entirely different perspective on what is happening in Iraq/Afghanistan by talking to them as opposed to reading what some ignorant keyboard jockey from some left-wing newspaper is writing.
