Hey, I´m all for protection. I don´t think I would mind if someone carried a concealed handgun for his or hers protection.

But come on. A submachine gun? Why not a M16 rifle. Or a beltfed M60. Or a rocket launcher. I thought the arms race with the sovjets was enough. To start one with hoodlums and robbers would be nothing short of complete idioticy.
