nothing I wish would happen. I enjoy running water and cold beer. I enjoy sitting on a toilet to drop a deuce. There are so many things we take for granted that if something like that happened we would lose. Everything we know today would no longer exist. You guys that live up in the PNW have no idea what its like to spend a summer in the south. Or us southerners spending winter outside in the PNW. Its all good sitting behind a computer dreaming of what ifs. I dont wish that upon anyone.
But I also say, you might want to prepare just in case. Its like having that spare tire in your trunk or a AAA card in your wallet. With the way the world is going today my training and supply stash might come in handy. If not it hurt no one. I guess its that boy scout motto that has stayed in me.
GUN GUYS! So it begins

Red Dawn is one of my favorite movies. I wish that would happen here in the USA....oh wait I bet it will.
Hey what channel is Red Dawn on? Star Wars is on Spike.
There was a game made for the xbox called Freedom Fighters which reminds me of Red Dawn. I loved it.Leave a comment:

I got what you were saying the 2nd time you posted that....
I was searching for the quote "An armed society is a polite society.
Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life." when I came across that one I have in my sig. I cut and pasted it in my sig. Ill be hunting for a new one, even though the quote is dead on. George or no George.
Thanks for the correction!Leave a comment:

George Washington did not say that..............
This is a false quote, but bits and pieces of it still continue to crop up from time to time. Even national publications, such as Playboy magazine, have been snared by it. (Playboy published the "quote" in December 1995 as part of an article entitled "Once and for All: What the Founding Fathers Said About Guns". After consulting with an assistant editor of the George Washington Papers at the University of Virginia, Playboy published a lengthy correction in March 1996.)Leave a comment:

hahaha Red Dawn was made in the early 80s I want to say 84. That movie was great and a cult classic and spun the whole survivor mentality.
Remember every great nation at one time or another has fallen. Will you be ready?
edit, if your watching that on Spike tonight... its cut up and missing many parts of the movie. Its worth the $5 at the local walmart DVD box...Last edited by Vedubin01; 01-10-2009, 09:57 PM.Leave a comment:

shut the fuck up. You dont even know what you're posting. You live in fucking no-mans land what do you need oversized firearms for anyway.
FUCK you, this is a back door to circumventing the Constitution, even if you dont own a gun and dont care if you lose the right. Well how about losing the right to free speech, or the right to not incriminate ones self, or lose the rights to refuse an unreasonable search. Fuck why dont we just burn the Constitution an fucking let the govt tell us everything we can and cant do.
We lose this, its a legal president to the encroachment of our rights in the future.
Where I live has nothing to do with it, I like the "middle of no where" and 2 I will not even go for a hike in the mountains with out at least a .44 as we have bears (black and brown) mountain lions, and wolves. so yeah I guess I dont need any thing over sized as a .44 can just pancake on the brest bone of a griz.
Your right a new prez cant do it alone but you could with the 2 biggest anti gun guys in govt. in the country as the perz vice prez an a supper majority in the congress biased to the anit gun agenda's then yes it can happen. All in the name of making us all safer, fuck that I can look out for my self thank you.
I suggest that you dont post while drunk it makes you look like a bumble fuck.Last edited by mrsleeve; 01-11-2009, 12:35 AM.Leave a comment:

Protection, security, target shooting. The greatest reason "you never know"
Im not planning on killing anyone but if the situation arises where I need to protect myself I know I can. I also have certian items that would be quite desirable would we fall into a depression.Leave a comment:

Then whats the point in owning one, you're not going to kill anyone.its not about hunting, I dont hunt and im a gun owner.
Also most murders happen with UNREGISTERED handguns. Which means that is totally irrelevant because were talking about government control. The government cant do anything to stop unregistered weapons, aside from coming into everyones house and turning the place upside down looking for them. Which under the patriot act is perfectly acceptable.

well you see the line that I have separated out. Thats is the point of the 2a and thats the whole reason its there. It has nothing to do with hunting, sport shooting or really defending against invading armies. It about the government serving the people not the other way round. We are quickly on the road to our own destruction as a people at the hands of our elected officials under the guise of security an the good of the many.
a few words form one of the founding men of this country.
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." - Thomas JeffersonLeave a comment:
