I don't own a gun but i'm more of the who hunts with an assault rifle? but at the same time the stats show murders happen with pistols not assault rifles so...something right is in place from stopping bad people from just going around GTA style and killing everyone for fun.
well I guess they saw there's a saturation point where the gov't goes "now whats gonna happen if a huge riot does occur?" I can see this as the gov't is actually afraid for themselves. As some one else posted the number of people who own guns is bigger then any of the standing army's of the world.
I'm all for the idea that they want to get people really angry about one thing so they can go and do another. (curtain) And whats a bigger topic then gun control? what would happen to the NRA? all the gun magazines? hunting shows? I can't even imagine a funeral of any one in the armed service or the police/fire dept without one of those guns being shot.
So don't fret and worry about this getting passed by congress, BUT if it does just show up with all your Hunting/sport weapons to congress and ask them again. Most people have guns for there friends as well so share the wealth and just ask them for gas money to DC and they WILL listen.

Okay, so recruitment is going more slowly than I had anticipated. I thought I might sweeten the pot by letting you all know what we're going to do when we're in power.
Reading on this forum, I know that you are all tired of the rich people being taxed more than their fair share and this pisses me off too. After the revolution, everyone 18 years old and over will be taxed the same amount regardless of income. The injustice that has been done to the wealthy in this country will be over (there may be reparations later). Now, more of the people from r3v will feel good about paying just as much as the rich people and the shame of being carried by the rich will be gone!!@!!@!!!!!
Now, when people get their first big tax bill, they'll need to have a job to pay for it. Everyone will have a stronger incentive to be employed@!!!!##@@!!!! If you can't pay your tax bill, you will be drafted into the military. The best news is that with our more lenient (I didn't say liberal) gun control laws, you can now take your military guns and ammo home with you on the weekends. This means that there will be no more crime because no one will want to fuck with anyone who might have a m-16!!!!@@!!!!!!

The founding fathers of our proud country fought to make AMERICA what it is, if we don't stand up today and take action we are just cowards who don't deserve to live in this once great nation. I'm calling on the R3V Militia to go into action.
Our constitution was drafted to allow us to gather arms to overthrow the government if necessary and the time is now.
Our first mission will be to gather our guns and head to our Waco-style compound. Does anyone have access to their parent's basement near the Washington D.C. area? We will need to organize all of the like-minded patriots for our resistance.
Our second goal will be take over the Nation's capitol, but I don't want to give too much away on a public forum.
