Economics is a complicated thing. Government spending will not necessarily make us tax-payers pay more taxes. The government basically makes money whenever it wants it. Plus with the US being the most powerful nation in the world, it doesn't matter that much what kind of debt we have.

Since we are at the 100 level as you say, and you want things to be more fair.....

So lets say there is a student who works their butt of to get an A in a class, and another student that sits around, does nothing and really doesn't care. One student scores well on the tests, the other fails consistently. According to your logic, we should take some of the A students high scores and distribute it to the non-performing students so both students should recieve a C regardless of how much effort was put into it?
