I know what you meant. But keep in mind that Scientologists are not told about Xenu till they pay enought to get to that level. By the time they get there they are indoctronated enough to where they actually believe it.

So, we have been talking back and forth about all the off the wall, and rather strange concepts that are some of the core fundamentals of this "Religion", but, there are some things on the surface that I have not found answers to, a real explanation to how things go in the procession of delving into the depths of the group, or trying to get to the bridge, whatever.

Let's try to look at this from an everyday man's place, and try to understand how one could end up a member. Joshh, I'll start the stage, and setting, and our soon to become new member of the "Church". You carry on, (you don't have to write a story, but hit some high points) and share with us what draws one in until 15 years, $345,000 they get a manila envelope containing the story of Xenu. (I know you may not have the info that far up, but somewhat into the "fold" would work.)

Day One

John Perkins had just stepped out into the warm fall breeze outside of his hotel just off Sunset Blvd., and decided that today he would take a brisk afternoon walk in the other direction as yesterday's walk, being as he had bored easily of the silly stores and "boutique's" around Hollywood, and Robertson had yielded few celeb's to snap a shot off.

A few miles into his walk he had noticed a large building at 6336 Hollywood Blvd., and was immediately drawn to the sign in the window "FREE STRESS TEST", (He had been stressed as of late, his wife had just filed papers the week before, and had run away with one of the farm hands back at their split level on their farm in south Ohio, he knew how much was to loose to her and "Frank") and decided, "Why not?"

Walking inside, John was approached by a man in his thirties, who smiled and said...

"Would you like to do a stress test?". Or "would you like to do a personality test?".
John being a person in need of some support and feeling about as low as a person can. He's searching for answers. "Sure, I'll do one".
They sit him down to do a "stress test" .......WHAT DO YOU KNOW...you have stress. And the solution is Scientology. "Scientology can help you with that". Even though the e-meter doesn't pick up stress.
Or he sat down and did the 200 question personality test. The test is computed and put on a graph. It doesn't matter what his graph looks like "you are in need of help and that help is Scientology" (of course). This is where they feed on the weak or people that have been traumatized by something in their life.
The person giving the test talks about Scientology and how good it is. John decides to try the communication coures because shit, that could be the problem he and his wife had.
As many could improve their communication from any communication course he finds it good and informative. And well it wasn't all that expensive (yet!).
He signs up for another course. As he does these courses he starts to meet other Scientologists and they fill him with how Scientology is the only answer. Slowly John is being fully indoctronated in Scientology. Till one day he feels like Scientology is the only answer. And fromthere it doesn't matter if Scientology hides the truth about Xenu and some o the other wacko shit, he'll buy it because well, Scientology is the only answer.
If John ever joins the Sea Org, that is usually the best way for people to see that Scientology isn't what it seems. But can still take years to see the truth.
