Nothing but insults. I guess no one can answer the simple question:

Why won't Obama return the 100K he got from AIG while demanding that those at AIG who got bonuses return them?

Oh, and a lot of internet tough guys flexing their muscles on this thread.

Why are some of you getting so worked up about it and taking it so personally?

    Are you related to Obama?

It's your money he's throwing around like a drunken sailor in a whorehouse.

Perhaps it hasn't dawned on some of you yet, but it will when the bill comes due...

The only irony here is that all the young college kids who voted for Obama will be footing the bill for his incompetence.

I dont get it. ALL POLITICIANS ARE LYING SACKS OF SHIT WHO FUCK OVER ANYONE AND DO ANY KIND OF DIRT TO GET TO THE TOP!! Democrats, Republicans alike. Get over it, its not new, and your particular party does the same shit so fucking get over it. Dont you understand that the people in power dont give a flying fuck about you and everything they do, they do to stay in power, NOT to appeal to your conservative/liberal sensibilities or because they want whats best for the "people". This country was carved up long ago amongst the people who own it. We were left out of the equation fucking ages ago. So dont think that ANY of them have any of your interests at heart. Whether you be republican or democrat. Fucking bickering amongst people who are dem or republican, its so silly. Were too busy fighting amongst ourselves to figure out that behind us there is someone sticking it up our ass. Why do you think that BOTH parties join hands in unison whenever its a possibility that another party can come into the mix?? Theyre ALL thieves. Just enjoy your life and do what you can to make YOUR quality of life better and try and be a decent human to others, fuck it. No reason to get all pissy to eachother about shit you cant do shit about and futhermore is all put there to divide us.

    Mariano

edit: Sorry didnt mean to offend anyone, I just think its hilarious that people get all serious and point things out about these politicians who are playing us all like idiots and couldnt give a multicolored shit about any of us as long as them and their friends are where they want to be.

see, i'm glad you make your logical fallacies so neat and glaringly obvious. it's like you giftwrapped this one with a pretty little bow on it. this is called an "ad hominem"; attempting to discredit a discussion point not by attacking the validity of the point itself, but by attacking the validity of any source of the assertion.

all the same, i'll play along. i'm guessing wikipedia falls neatly into this category?

As of 2004, he had received $398,548 in deferred compensation from Halliburton while Vice President.
the new york times probably does as well, i'm sure. fucking "whack jobs". how DARE they disagree with fox news.

When he left the company to run for vice president, Mr. Cheney received over $30 million in compensation, Mr. Waxman said.
The Pentagon contract given without competition to a Halliburton subsidiary to fight oil well fires in Iraq is worth as much as $7 billion over two years
does the phrase "quid pro quo" strike a chord here?

Couldn't agree with this more. E30 Cabrio: The country is in a shit storm and someone has to get it out, namely, the citizens.

Now go shoot broken down cars with shotguns or whatever it is you slack-jaws do in your free time.

Thank you for you service dk. Haliburton is one of the energy company's I was talking about in my OP on this thread. With all of there no bid contracts, I would be shocked of Tricky Dick Chaney doesn't somehow get money from Haliburton in the end. I don't believe contractors or their private security details should be allowed in combat zones. I believe it would be hard to keep troop morale up if the are working beside a contractor who is making five or ten times more than a soldier doing the same job. If people are needed for a specific job and there is a shortage in the military then draft them into the military.

somehow i'm guessing the OP didn't feel quite the same sense of moral outrage when we were pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into Halliburton to do jobs that the military already had personnel, equipment, and logistics for. (no bonus points for guessing whose pocket a fair chunk of that wound up in.)

I'm really not disagreeing with you all that much. If you weren't so bullheaded in trying to make your point, you'd probably see that. But you've already made up your mind that I'm defending America's new super hero, and that I don't care about what's happening or what happens.

So please, continue with your tirade. I won't get in the way anymore. You can just kick me to the side with the rest of the people that questioned your logic, and are chasing after your begging for forgiveness and to PLEASE take them with you on your crusade to expose the truth. But I'll stick with the group that knows that in the end, all you're going to really going to do is run to the end of your chain and bark.

I'm sorry, I can't post anymore because I'm laughing too damn hard that ludicrous statment you just made. Is your online watchdog crew going to expose the truth and blow the lid off of this scandal?

But J. please don't stop. We must keep fighting windmills.
