    Very sad day for America.

expect obama to rub it in the republican's faces, and then expect romney and a republican senate and house to dismantle it in year one
Dude, do you really believe the shit you write, or is this just some sort of third rate limbaugh/coulter wannabe stuff? I mean, Ann is at least funny and winks at the audience.

think about it for a minute charles
the democrats have accomplished all they wanted and more. where does this ruling get out the vote for the dems, as opposed to conservatives who hate the mandate?
romney pledged to give every state and exemption on day one if elected, then work to get rid of it.

          We can only hope.

Basically the SCOTUS just told the federal government that its ok to force citizens to purchase a service as long as the penalty for not doing so is a monetary "tax"

Romney wouldn't repeal it. It was his idea to begin with and besides, too many insurance companies and hospitals would be in an uproar if it were repealed. The wheels have been in motion to implement the law. Now that we have certainty, everyone can relax and move forward with those changes.

Maybe now Congress can move on to more important things like, oh, I don't know... Job creation?

The Supreme Court has ruled, and even if Romney wins in November he can't do a thing about it until January. So let's hope maybe, just maybe, we can focus on more important things than bickering and soundbites.

Since this plan is basically a clone of Romney's, why would he repeal it?

"Conservatives" don't like Romney to begin with, since he's part of that weirdo underwear religion and politically a clone of Obama anyways, they'll end up splintering somewhere and voting for a third party RP ticket anyway, basically nadering the race and giving BO a second term.

Romney is the Republican version of John Kerry. He's an uninspiring compromise candidate (in that his electorate chose him simply because he's the least crazy option) running against a hated incumbent. That scenario didn't work out for the Democrats in 2004 and it won't work out for the Republicans in 2012.

Give me a break. I have criticisms of this bill as well but there is at least one big positive to it that overrides all the negative factors. That is that everyone will have access to health insurance at a reasonable rate. LESS PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. If you can't see through your biases and recognize that as a good thing then you're a sad person.

Calling this a "very sad day for America" is marginalizing the real sad days such as 9/11, the passage of the Patriot Act, the invasion of Iraq, or all of those days that good people die because they can't afford the treatment they need.

So sit down and feel good for once that the government has maybe, just maybe, done something kinda right for once even if it does mean cutting into your beer money.

Its bigger than the health care bill. I am for people having access to healthcare. Its the simple fact that the .gov can tell you, you have to purchase something and if not we will tax you for it.

Sure its a good step on a problem that needs to be addressed. It cant sustain the way its going. But there are much better ways than having the gov tell you whats good for you and taxing you if you dont obey!

                              At what cost...ask yourself that...

And you call yourself a fucking conservative? It's *my* fucking beer money. Not the governments. Get that point? It's not for government to decide if it's for the betterment of society or not. it's my property. You've fallen into the progressive trap. WHere does it end? It's just a fucking car man, you can take the bus...it's for the betterment of society don't be a fool.....LMFAO. Slaves and made this way....
Government *only* has the right to tax for the basics of society not healthcare, not someone fucking abortion, not someone else's food etc. Yet they tax the rest of us for all that shit. It's all unconstitutional.
