My dad mentioned something interesting to me, if California was a country, it would be the 8th largest country in the world. I think CA should secede from the union.

If you're talking about geographical area then cali would be the 59th largest.

Also, California's population is almost twice that of all of Australia. Kind of astounding, I just looked that up. So there are almost twice as many Californians as there are Australians. Yikes. I think I prefer Australians actually. ;)
