    would you rather it have ended up like Ruby Ridge or Waco...................... With out those folks there thats likely how it would have gone

    Oh boy here we go again we have the feds getting involved again WHY are the feds getting into a state and even more over a local issue again.

    On that note here is a video from day of........ About 6:30 you hear an eye witness say that he saw brown double back and rush the officer with brown still laying in the street ....

    broken down for those too lazy to click and FF
    #1 How’d he get from there to there?

    #2 Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – cause he was like over the truck

    {crosstalk}

    #2 But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him

    {crosstalk}

    #2 Then the next thing I know he doubled back toward him cus - the police had his gun drawn already on him –

    #1. Oh, the police got his gun

    #2 The police kept dumpin on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him

    {crosstalk}

    #2 Police fired shots – the next thing I know – the police was missing

    #1 The Police?

    #2 The Police shot him

    #1 Police?

    #2 The next thing I know … I’m thinking … the dude started running … (garbled something about “he took it from him”)

    AS for my position, neither side is telling the whole truth, will we likely ever know what really happened prolly not. If the cop shot him and it was not justified than fuck him hes going to jail for murder . My point is I am going to be more inclined to believe a cop with a clean record than a criminal almost any day.

      Well, Brown hasn't been convicted in any courtroom so he's not a criminal (if'n you believe in the whole innocent until proven guilty...or was that innocent unless black? You did bring up the unrelated Trayvon Martin case for reasons that don't make a whole lot of sense unless you're just trying to say black kids getting shot in the streets deserve what they got if you believe they were up to no good), the kid that was with him wasn't even charged with any crime at all last I read, so he's not a criminal, the video doesn't even necessarily show a robbery, that's simply interpretation that's been given to us by the police and I haven't seen any statements from the market owner.

      Not to mention Brown is dead so we don't even know what his story would be even if he had one...

      so tell us, which criminal's story are you disregarding in favor of this "clean" officer's story? How is he going to go to jail? He hasn't even been charged with a crime? And if he was charged with a crime, what white jury is going to convict him? Chances are they're going to be just as blinded by the badge as you are. If you were on his jury would you convict him? You're already convinced he was acting appropriately and you don't even have anything more than the facts as they've been leaked by the police

        well, whatever...I'm going to lower my expectations.

        In any case, here's a non-criminal, doing lawful, constitutionally protected behavior (member of the press live-streaming government policing the protestors) being threatened that he'll be "shot in the face" if he doesn't put his camera down:

          Video tape of someone robbing a gas station and then assaulting the clerk is an open and shut case, we just didnt get to the formalities. The kid that was with is did not commit any crime, though I supposed given the circumstances the DA has decided NOT to press charges. Edit: seems the acomplace will prolly be seeing some charges for giving a false statement now that we have an autopsy showing he was NOT shot in the back, all rounds entered the front of his body and also NOT point blank either fired from a greater distance lends credence to the officers story.

          The Martin case IS connected, the counsel for the martin family is now representing the Brown family. 2 young black kid portrayed as nothing but a good kid, and gunned down in cold blood, while staying with family somewhere other than home..... Yet when you do the smallest amount of digging into their past to you find they are not the sweet little kid that the media is showing you every night on the tv....

          As to your video tape, I dont have time to watch it right now, but form your description is sounds much like things I have been staunchly against for a long time and that is a police reaction that is out of line with what their place in society is.

                    No, it wouldn't have. You're straight up making shit up to rationalizing people pointing loaded weapons at federal agents who were enforcing a court order. The double standard you apply when you describe someone breaking the law is appalling but predictable.

                          The atf was enforcing court orders in tx and Id too. So anyway meanwhile M.E. says all wounds were front entry, and fired from a distance greater than 3 feet, so goes the shot in the back at point blank range execution style stories we have kept hearing about

                            Your words. I can get back to you with the source but was having a discussion about this a year or two back about how police/swat stories correlated with the video evidence. 9/10 they were never the same when a death occured.

                            How about this just to site things off quickly:
                            When we talk about police brutality, we often forget about the women who have been killed by police. Here are just a few. Recently, The Root ran a piece that included a slideshow of unarmed black men killed by police. It was a disturbing, to say the least. But too often when we talk about police brutality, we …

                            Point? I don't personally experience it but all my black friends do and it's glaringly obvious, by their accounts, that that if no where else, racism is rampant in police forces. "Unrealistic expectations"

                            I like most of what oliver had to say. Step away from the Ferguson issue and focus on the militirization part and I don't know how anyone can disagree. So this continues and it doesn't seem like it will stop anytime soon from congress at least as seen here:

                            Things become fishy when the msm decides to pitch their circus tent. It's like a sign saying that there won't be an easy answer to any of this (edit) aka: the accepted story will be full of holes. Im still finding it hard to believe that the kid just decided to wrestle for a cops hand gun. That goes beyond common sense, even for you that would call him some idiot hood rat.

                                Sick and tired of the media giving more energy and light to racially charge everyone. Also sick and tired of this guy chiming in only on "racial crimes" towards black people.
