I see it now, it looks like I mistook a large diamter hose for another intake runner!!
-
is that a custom intake manifold?? I could have sworn at the end of the "will it break" video I saw an M30 looking manifold??

The whole thing because your car is a beast!
I want like 1/2 of your motor.
hahah :D
all of the stuff that i have can be bought and most of the stuff is plug n play
my stuff are a bit diffrent.
im running custom forged ross pistons with comp ration of 8.9
the rods normally used is 135mm but im using 130mm.
the crank is from the m21 diesel (dont use the eta crank)
heavy duty rockers are from IE engineering i CA (tried their billet ones but they worked for 1 month then they were wore down)
valves are same size but in stainless(next step will be oversize valves)
camshaft is called z45 and is a turbo cam shaft from PPF
retainers are made out off crmo
springs are WAY harder should handle 9k rpm
the head is STOCK !!! beside welding the water channels, but all intake side and exhust isent touched (this will be the next step aswell)
turbo is from an volvo FH truck 61mm in no rocket science ( next step would be billet one and bigger )
oil pump is changed, trigger wheel modified, 4p sinter clutch with sachs pressure plate
AND MUCH MORE...
by lowering the comp ratio and putting some o-ring on the block and running strock head gasket its easy to get 450hp out of m20.
as for now im not interested in any more power, but im not gonna say never.. after the summer there will be a looooong winter and thats ofent when thing get out of hand.
the plan for the car from the beginning was 450hp with stock internals,, and see where it took me after one long winter

Amazing power from that dirty beast of an E30 there.
Fucking amazing, in fact.
Do you have any kind of build page somewhere with some info about your setup? If you dont, what do you have for engine management?
Do you drive that thing on the streets anywhere near daily?
Luke
I have a build page on on a swedish bmw forums but the server with all the pics is down, i could try getting it running again.
but im planning posting some pics of the car and some of the tech stuff in the members riders thread.
