Also, the kid driving had shrooms and the kid yelling had weed so they didn't want to beat the shit out of him. The guy didn't even have a license.

Although the neighbors handled the situation wrong, your friends obviously don't have any clue as to the history behind the Hat 'n' Boots. The time, money, and work that went into saving, moving, and restoring these structures was enormous. Seeing how the signs that are, or suppose to be posted saying "NO SKATEBOARDING", I have a hard time believing the Cop said skateboarding "ON TOP OF THE HAT" was OK. I understand having fun, but destroying the very community that you live in just shows a real lack of understanding of social respect.
