I don't know, maybe you're über smart and realized that I was making fun of you for the last couple of pages. I am mainly wondering why you converted the iX to RWD (wasting time and money) instead of buying a non-iX E30. The only reason I can think of is that you liked the larger fenders and the skirts and all of that, but wanted RWD. Is that the case? Because that seems like a very odd thing to convert a car to RWD when 90% of E30's are RWD in the first place.

dont have cash to buy another car.. PLUS .. my uncle owns a junk yard and has a few e30s so... um ya parts are FREEEEE:p:p otherwise i would have maybe got a turbo for it, again MONEY.

Yo trey, at that time when i was doing the conversion i heard that since the t-case is run by chain it could not hold a lot of HP. Thats what really started me to do the conversion, and so far so good.

I tried selling my car to just come up on some cash but that didnt go well. i realized that i put too much work into it, that was another plus that made me keep my car and do the conversion.

Well if by "converted to rwd" you mean "removed the front driveshaft", yes you converted to rear wheel drive. How's your caster?

nice try no.......... ive taken the whole cross member along with struts, control arms, sway bar, and steering rack from an I and put that on my ix. one the engine sits ill have negative cambers, nice little handling. thanks for the offer. im buying engine,trans,ecu,wiring for less than $3k

Okay... serious post. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We can't post pictures of our cars and start ripping anuses (anii?) when we don't hear what we want to hear. Like Emin always says, we all have different tastes, so what you perceive as "nice" might be "shit" to the guy next to you. I think this thread shows it pretty clearly.

I've known Matt and Emin for many years. They both do things to their cars that baffles me (AWD to RWD conversion and "colorful" cosmetics), but if it makes them happy, then I'm happy for them. For the record, I think Fidhle007's wheels (SSR Comp-H if I'm not mistaken) are pretty damn sweet.

I like e30s but I also like the features of modern cars. That's why I have a modern motor, coilovers, HIDs and a splitter/undertray. If I wanted my E30 to look like a modern car I'd sell it for the $12,000 grand I could get for it and buy an E46, but I don't. If you're so young and unsatisfied with your car, why not stop throwing fucking money at it (having a genuine Rieger kit on it is worse than going ebay, because it means you spent a lot of money to make your car look like shit) and save for something better in a few years. Stop trying to make your car what it's not and enjoy it for what it is and if you don't enjoy it for what it is, save your money and buy something that you do.

If you like modern styling buy a modern car. Pretty simple really. You say you dont see what is wrong with it, but the car is about 13 shades of primer and body filler. Be honest with yourself.

No offense meant by the way, just calling it as I see it. I dont care what you do with the car (hell, it's a $500 car) but it'd be nice to see you make some progress with the paint at least.

So what I if my favorite car is an e30 but I like modern styling. Shit Im 22 years old and body kits and rims still make me happy. I dont understand whats ricey about my car. What ebay parts do I have? The body kit is Rieger and it cost just the same if not more than M techII kits. My lights are all oem, mirrors are from Bavarian Autosport.
