B5 S4's are not that great in handling, I would own all my friends a4/s4's with my stock e36 m3 coupe and I'm not a that well of a driver.

Really depends on the driver, but I give the edge to the S4 with AWD.

The current S4 pushes like a pig hunting for truffles. And he's go an old one, which will be worse.

started a topic any one ever see a fast audi?

any one ever see a fast audi?

So i was talking a a mutual friend the other day, who had an Audi S4 with the 2.7t. We started talking shop about our cars, and when i started mentioning autocross and the likes, he told me he has probably the best handling car he knows of... i told him he should auto cross with me at an annual car show that's in our area every summer. He said he was down, and confident that he would stomp (he made it a contest, not me)...
Now, i don't know if this match up will ever actually happen, but last year, i ran the autocross in my bone stock v6 mazda6 w/bald tire and ran faster than a lowered S4, with the heavy V8, by 2 seconds. i realize that the turbo v6 is probably a little bit more nimble, so it got me wondering though; has any body ever seen an audi, sedan that could really get through the corners, or is it possible that my little e30 could make the big bad audi eat his words?
Working...
