    Chris,

Do you have a later model 325i or 318is?

If I were to take a guess... it looks like you've got:

low pressure pump feeding --> externally mounted high pressure --> fuel filter --> surge tank --> to fuel rail

    Is that about right?

Here is how I have mine set up. It's a little messy, but it's solid. Been running with it all season with no issues. Before, I would starve fuel at a half tank. I can now run down to nothing left in the tank.

That's exactly what I'm afriad of. I rather see it first before I pull the trigger on this.

Someone post up some pics. Its a bit of a cluttered mess in that area. I'd like to see what people are doing.

This photo would be a big help.
    Thanks!

Would this work with a 255 in tank pump and a 255 inline, or would I have to have a higher pressure inline?

    ^^This.

But then again, have not had many issues with starvation. Got the '85 tank/dual pump setup, and it's been pretty reliable so far.

I would guess around 8oz they are a lot smaller then they look in pictures. For a street car that you take on the track once in a while I would use this as you can mount it hidden under the car but for a race car I would get something bigger that is not plastic.

Very nice product, but be sure to check the welds. We had an issue with one that was mounted and spewed fuel like nobodies business.

Could have been from install, or something else. Cover three holes and blow in the fourth, that should tell you what you need to know.
