That's why I ditched the dtc's I was tired of changing rotors. They eat em for breakfast. Idk if the pfc pads dust as much (it'd expected) but the dtc's dust like crazy

DTCs are scary hard on rotors. Check them for cracks regularly.

I run them on my car for HPDE's. They ony have one event on them, but they seemed to have very little wear. That's with 2 hours of race time. Unfortunately, I left them on after the event and have been running them on the street for a few miles - they're loud and obnoxious, but I stop on a dime. Hopefully, I'm not running them down too much with street miles.

    Great pads!

Run the cheapest rotors you can find...i get mine for 14$ each.
Full set of PFC08s for $260!? That is RETARDED cheap... I had no idea they could be had that cheap.

Edit: confirmed, $260 for 278 and 279 shaped 08s. Guess I know my next street pad.

I'm sorry, is that $260 for a set of front and rear 08s? OR just fronts? I remember my PFC06s front and rear came out to $500ish from bimmerworld last year

Hey guys – is the PFC08 an endurance or sprint pad?

Well we are making it thru the day with el cheapo carbon pads that cn be had most anywhere. WE tend to be momentum drivers and not the smash on the brakes type.

The 08's will probably last longer than what you've been using, but I don't know if they'll make it through multiple Lemons races. A Lemons race is a lot of race time.

We are just burning up old tires right now. We have some ZII's on order for next race in NJ

yeah, we use the cheapest rotors i can find... but nice tires, thankfully the Z2s are around 100 for 205/50r15s so it's not as bad as it could be.

No point in buying good rotors... You'll be doing the same thing and spending more money.

That's what we are doing, I then recycle them for scrap metal...budget racing at it's worst.
