I have 8k hours in FRED. been doing the flying thing for 17 years. The Number 2 engine was waiting on majority of stuff to be flown here to Spain it's not often that a KC-10 shits an engine.

I for one would not want to be changing one out on the ramp, would rather be in a comfy hanger and there is none here plus weather has been very stormy lately. High winds and lightning.

Lol had no idea what a FRED or a Gucci jet was until i asked a co-worker who is an acrtive reservist. Yikes, 3 weeks for an engine change. That's our span time goal on C-checks for the 3 holers.

FRED.... There is a Gucci jet here getting a number 2 engine change it's only been here for three weeks.

So Update....I won't make it there at all fargin aye. But someone gave em a hand and got it bled. It just went through tech hoping they didn't have to bribe Judge Phil again.

Trust me I know how to do it, but I'm in Spain and my other two yahoo's don't understand that.

On top of that I was just informed the jet will not be fixed until Sunday so I won't make the race at all.

Reverse bleed it. Works great and can be done by one person. Unbolt slave cylinder and push rod into cylinder several times. Air buble will work there way up to the resevoir. When you think you've got it do it some more.

    Lemon's Halloween Hooptiefest 2013

So I'm stuck abroad and today is tech day and the car is ready MINUS the clutch needs to be bled. My three other members half not figured out how to bleed it.

ARG. get it to the track and ask for help at minimum. I hope to make it home tomorrow early so I can race one day at minimum.

If you are there stop by and offer a hand or have a beer after racing is over.
