Changed class to STX and ran the Ventus R-S3 V2's for the first time. I used to run Nitto NT-01's and I would say that the V2's are *almost* as sticky. They are amazing 'street' tires.
Great driving man, that car is set up LOOSE!

I forgot my GoPro's memory card for the last autocross, but my friend got some decent video from outside the car. I beat my other DSP competitor (a new Civic Si) by 0.011 in this final run.

Also it's my understanding that adding clutches to the lsd doesn't increase break away torque as much as it increases the division of labor.
It does both. That corner creates crazy load differentials on the rear so it's really hard on diffs. Only the MM diff in the 330 has been able to hold a lock around that thing, but that's with stock 330 suspension so a little different

There's enough droop but I've often thought about going to no or stock rear bar. Will test out next time I'm at an event.

Yeah tell me about it. Won't be suprised if it goes a lot slower than expected and or run out of funding. Fingers crossed we can keep running here for awhile longer.

3 clutch LSD is fun, but I just got mine to slip driving up a mountain road. I'm thinking a ramp change or 4 clutch for the next diff.

I agree, i could have left in second for more of the course and just used 3rd for the straight shoots,
r3vlimiter has been raised and i made an led shift light to help prevent breaking a rocker arm.

when you say the course at el toro while they last, are they going to stop having them there soon?

thanks wh33lhop, that would have been great to pick up 3 seconds just from changing my shifting.
one of the instructors there Geoff has an e30 and rode with me in the morning and asked me to try leaving it in 3rd for more of the course because he felt i was running out of revs in 2nd.

I thought you took a nice line through the course. Only thing i saw was coming in a bit to hot or just not braking early enough and over shooting the right hand corner coming off the hill. That's easy to do at autoclub speedway on that part of the lot where it's down hill and then it goes off camber.

You should come to some events at el toro while they last. Grip is outstanding and the courses are wide open.

I built up a 3.73 limited slip with 3 clutches
