Hillclimb event footage from the weekend

Here is two of my runs at the Noosa Hill Climb that I did last weekend. My little M42 got me 1st in class with 2nd being 5 seconds away from my pb of 64.88. The lap record for a car under 2L is 60 seconds done in a very tough Escort.
This one is with my crash after the finish line
This was my tank slapper AFTER the finish line on Saturday. Only a small bit of damage sustained on the rear bar luckily.

This is my fastest run for the weekend

Very cool! Any details on your build? Awesome driving, looks very quick. Also what's with the shifter 'shifting' around?

Thanks mate, can always go faster, just need bigger balls and a deeper pocket. Yeah I will look at that shifter movement. I do have solid engine mounts but only a rubber transmission one so maybe that's it. Here is a link to a previous build thread .

Love the way e30's handle at the limit. Any other car would've understeered into that k rail, unfortunately the track wasn't wide enough for you to pull it off the rest of the way.

I cant wait to get my car up to date with the suspension and other crap and start climbing the hills. Then may maybe maybe something wont go wrong with the 250k M20. Just maybe..

Thanks for sharing. Marked improvement in confidence and car placement between the spin @ finish and FTD. Also, M42, M42, M42, woo-woo!!!
