lol, that's why I just run race tires on the E30. I don't drive it in the winter anymore, and the non-race selection for small wheels is pretty awful anyway.

Exactly. I did find, however, that the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's can be had in 205/50-16. Just had a set installed instead of the R888's. From what I've read these are pretty much the Pilot Super Sports, but with the ability to drive in light snow and below 45 degree temps. I never take my car out in the rain or snow, but it's nice to know that I can bring it to work on those 35 degree spring/fall days and not worry about the tread cracking.

The first thing I noticed was how awfully loud the R888's were and also how terribly the R888's tracked with every groove in the road. So far I'm happy with these AS3's and would recommend them.
