what does that mean? Over a 3.5 minute lap of a track or a 30 second autocross?

That's what I was told today -- that the life expectancy with the Avons is pretty incredible.

Came from a very credible source, so +1 for that.

Avons are actually fairly popular in the european car magazines... I don't know what that says about their quality, but they have been around for a while and their tires do well in the comparrison tests (like on Tirerack). I almost bought a set of the Tech M500s or something after I put the same tires on an older Porsche 911.

    Avon Tires?

anyone have any experience with Avon tires?
I just ordered a new set of wheels and was looking for a new set of tires. I like my hoosiers, but I found the Avons on tirerack for pretty cheap.
    Any opinions on them?
Working...
