Id get an e36, honestly. The wheel base is longer and is imo a way beter drift car.

I'd put in new diff fluid, and I'd maybe check to make sure the e brake is working good. Also check to make sure your fans are working good.

did that a while ago. im in the process of replacing all the driveline parts that wear out: clutch, guibo, tranny mounts, rear sub mounts, etc. plus brake lines, pads, rotors oh and hopefully an e36 m3 rack if i make enough $$

No pics, and if it was a hole I'm pretty sure it would have leaked out no matter what...

It was a crack, so I guess when the engine was running enough oil was pulled out of the pan to not push any out.

There was a chunk of metal in the road, it was huge, and I had nowhere to go. It lifted the car enough that the tires chirped (I was under heavy braking).

Sorry, I guess this thread isn't story time, that post just reminded me...

    ^LOL

You couldn't do that now, it'd be cheaper to dump the oil and refill instead of idling for hours;)

I've cracked pans on the baffeled side and made it home in the winter, only to fine a puddle of oil in the morning. Ice chunks on the road FTL.

    Don't forget the 500mph tape...

Just bring the same things you would to a normal track day, thats really all it is. You may want to consider more spare rubber however.
