Buy a used one. You won't find any really good race seat for your budget.

BTW Have you checked Kirkey's aluminum seats? But they still are around $700...

I have an Evo 1 and like them. But next year, I will install a Recaro SPG. I used to have a Momo 1000 lake before. Sold it to a California HPDE student after it got outdated.

    1000 Lake

Sparco Evo. Now outdated too. Will be replaced by an SPG.

The SPG is not a bling-bling race seat. It is a true Motorsport race seat that has been in use for over 20 years. Also, Sparco's Evo seat is more cushiony if you want more comfort.

You can get good used race seats that have expired (5 years after manufacturing) for about $300...

Those actually look like they are curved in the back, which is really what I need because of my back. $795 isn't that bad if they are comfortable.

    Speaking of Yugo's...

Q: Do you know why they have rear window defrosters?

A: To warm your hands when pushing it in the snow.

I will make another run right after Christmas. If the US hasn't imploded.

They are uncomfortable and not rigid.

Your best bet is to find a speed shop or go to a track day and ask to try a few different seats.
