Awesome, I'ma try to recline them bitches tomorrow then.

Otherwise, how do you take them apart? Might be cheaper to disassemble them to ship.

BMW did have different sliders on early models but I think it was only on comfort seats. Its probably something simple like you need to push down on the recline lever while your sitting in it.

lol, don't worry man. There's a not of stuff that could cause that condition, but you just have to test things one at a time. It's just fuel, air, and spark after all.

        Things you should try:
-intake leaks (easy to miss things like the evap hose)
        -swap crank sensor
        -check for good fuel pressure
        -test TPS
        -test AFM or MAF
        -test coolant temp sensor
        -swap DME
-Check compression (probably ok if it's running fine when warm)

        Yeah, it's a pain.
It was so much easier on the E46 M3 because you can drop the engine out with the subframe and pull forward since the front support is bolted, not welded. lol

Remove the back cover. The uppers have a couple of screw towars the base that hold them in. Undo those and remove the quick release cable.

I don't know what that is... do we make literacola?

And I just pulled the seats I swapped in, they have a nut welded between the rail and the frame. Other than that, they mounting hardware looks exactly the same. Go figure, guess I just get to drive with my head on the roof.
