what would you guys chose?

straight 6 stroked 3.1l n/a motor with triple webers putting down ~300hp to the wheels
or
straight 6 2.5l turbo motor putting ~350hp+ to the wheels
or
ls1 v8 (enough said)
or
s50b30 or s54b32 both with supercharger possibility in the future

it would be street-able with track days thrown in every month or so. need something that can be beat at the track with and then take me home.

not looking for a bmw engine other than the two i mentioned. it isn't going into a bmw.

Maybe my engrish is bad but i see at least 4 engines mentioned. One of which was an m20 unless you were planning on tossing carbs on or 3.1 stroking a ...

i was referring to an l28 not an m20. only 2 motors i mentioned were bmw motors.

If you want practical find a new hobby, if u want to never loose a race, 502 big block supercharged, were talking high 800hp prolly more with the supercharger, and we havnt eve added a shot or 30 of nitrous :)
