I vote for part out even though it’s kind of a pain in the ass. It’ll make some $$ but you need a spot to keep it.

My completely not worth $0.02 $0.02.

I posted the car on Craigslist as a part-out (minus the engine/trans), and some guy asked how much for the whole car. We agreed to $500. Turns out there's someone dumber than I am!

(Jk, he was really interested in all of the interior, but still opted for the whole car)

Yes, good job. Get out of the whole car at once.

Sorry to hear...did this happen early in the drive this weekend?

My car did have some steering issues when I initially got started on the drive. Let the group go ahead of me, no reception to communicate and went the opposite way.

Drove around for about 2 hours in the mountains and headed home.
5 miles away from home I hit a lip of cement protruding on the freeway. Never saw it and most cars behind me hit the thing with the bottom of their bumpers as well.
Looking forward to getting a low sump pan to avoid these issues.

I took a few pics up in the mountains, that were the best part of the day.

Oh man... feel for ya. Glad it wasn’t worse. At least you got some drive time in!

Im having a real "dilemma" right now...

Do I rush and 5-speed swap the eta or take my time building the 2.8 M20 and manual swap it then? ...

Best part was tha I had just swapped out rear tires, my ride was comfortable with 225/40s. I'm over the stretch and just want to enjoy driving my car a little more.

Option 2 makes the most sense in my opinion. Get everything done at once, why do you want to get under the car twice?, plus it's so much easier to have everything out, cleaned and tied together for that swap.

Agreed. Would wait and do the engine/trans as a unit.

Who needs a severe duty e28/e24 skid plate? I have one ready for install.
$280 for the skid and I will install it for free.
This is very similar to the e30 version with the weld in support bar.
