Passing smog/inspection with OBDII parts on S50?

I'm getting close to having all of the pieces I need for my 24v swap except for the exhaust parts. I already have the stock M3 exhaust, but I was wondering if there would be problems passing any part of the inspection if I used OBDII exhaust manifolds and the OBDII midpipe on my S50. I figured that while I have the motor out and don't already have the OBDI pieces, these would be a worthwhile upgrade as they flow better than the stock OBDI counterparts. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Also, is there any difference between the airboxes from OBDI and OBDII cars? I still need the airbox/MAF setup for my car as well.
