BimmerFest 2013 San Diego County Caravan

What is it?: The 14th annual Bimmerfest event is back at the Rose Bowl on the same weekend as always with the enormous grass lot H. Last year was a record year and 2013 is going to be even bigger.

When: Saturday, May 18th, 2013 , Caravan to leave parking lot 5:30am so get there on time please.. remember 15 min early is on time, on time is late We will meet up with the north county folks along the way on the 5.

At about 6:00am, we'll start heading up the 5. Not exiting at carlsbad, but merging while on the freeway at Carlsbad at around 6:15, and will become one big group of beautiful BMWs. This is our goal. However, you never know what can happen.

Details/Communications Plan:
During the Caravan primary Comms will be on handheld 2 way multi-channel radios

Primary Channel: 7 Sub-channel 11 (why because 7-11 :)
Backup Channel: 6 Sub-channel 9 :thumsup:


Things you may want to do Friday:

- Wash your car
- Install front plate (a lot of people tend to get tickets for this)
- Gas up
- Check tires
- Pack walkie talkies, phone charger, microfiber cloths, bottled water, snacks, etc.

Let's get this going for Saturday. We're making it a Pre Bimmerfest Meet. I'm helping organize the Carlsbad caravan meet location for bimmerfest. Feel free to ask questions me about bimmerfest or the caravan on Saturday Night. Bimmerfest is on May 18, 2013.

CFlo Photography will be there to shoot photographs, if you want to good shots of your car, make sure you arrive early enough while there is still good lighting in the sky.

We also have coder from f10.5post who seems interested in doing some demo coding at the meet. I know some of you guys have asked me about coding.
