Saturday i usually start 5 or 5:30. Yeah i can get it off a couple times. I just have a trip this weekend and the boss don't like it when we ask for a bunch of days all at once. if the first one isn't till 5/11 i think i should be good.

When do you start work? It's one Saturday out of the month; I'm sure your boss would be lenient a couple times here and there

Also, the meet isn't happenning this second Saturday; it is too short notice and I don't have final details done yet; plus I will be out of town. The first official meet will happen 5/11; May 11th, next month

I want to get there around 7 is the plan

I'll be making the official thread to open up the meet sometime next week and will disclose the official details then

    @Josh
I'd like to do Bloom, but it may be inconvenient for the guys in Vacaaville to make it out; it's about an extra 25 miles one way for them coming out. The Truxel location would work best for everyone.

We'll still meet at Bloom with the guys though, don't worry haha ;)

Over all In-n-Out sounds like the best plan. People who want to eat can and those who don't won't. Plus like stated before if anyone shows up later they can grab a quick bite and we can all hang by the cars. Just have to to decide on the exact location. Earlier we start better chance i have of making it since i work weekends at night. What time frame were we all thinking here?

There's an In-n-Out next to bloom in Roseville... It's a short drive down the road but the best thing about bloom in Roseville is the huge parking space there.

I had that happen the second time I went there; it was in December; wasn't a drive by but a confrontation; dude tool of running and homeboy was laying faced own bleeding out

    I think it's official. In-N-Out lol

Slightly unrelated but not so unrelated story about Burgers n Brew.

Typical sunday night after church, me and the robros head to BnB for grub. We were peacefully eating our burgers and then out of nowhere, a driveby shooting happens. A dad with his son in a stroller gets shot up and almost dies. I watched the whole thing happen. Pretty surreal when 30 people dive under the tables for cover and everyone is screaming. Chris and I were the first one on the scene and I called 911.

The dude was bleeding out. Good times.

Yeah, I was hoping for B&B because it really is a great restaurant, and one of my favorite ones at that, but the more you slice it; In-N-Out is the most versitile and the way to go. Plus, B&B has the most traffic on Second Saturday; I'd really like to keep that meet day if possible, so In-N-Out sounds like a good deal

This means we'll have to redesign our flyer, but nothing we can't handle

i think any type of sit in restaurant is a bad idea. that kinda forces people to eat(not everyone wants to eat), and can demotivate those who don't show up on time from coming because they either have to wait for people to get done eating or they figure they're already late so they don't bother showing up. i think the key to success in having regular meets is to make them as informal as possible.

grab the food, stand outside next to your car and eat it.

    This changes things...
I just called B&B and they said typical wait for a party of 10-15 on Second Saturday is 45 minutes. That normally wouldn't be bad as we could just get a reservation and wait by the cars, but they also did tell me they don't split checks and can only run 2 cards at a time so all else must be cash

In-N-Out looks like it'll take it.
