Assistant Coroner Chief Ed Winter said a homeless man and his dog burned to death Monday when flames consumed a makeshift wood-and-cardboard shelter near Paxton Street and Foothill Boulevard, near the interchange of the Foothill (210) and Ronald Reagan (118) freeways. The man has not yet been identified.

I could smell that shit around LA on the 101 yesterday. Not the usual smog, I was a little dissapointed. Made it to Irvine, ate chipotle in SB, and got back by 3:00 though, and we left at 7:30, I was stoked.

Oh yeah, and only you can prevent forest fires.

But, really. A fire of that size will create it's own weatherfronts, aside from the fact that this is some crazy Canada air coming down on us.
i remember when those giant fires came all the way into glendora a couple years ago man. the weather was fuxzored for a while after that.

hopefully the fire in sfv gets contained soon enough, i dont want a repeat billion acre fire in california again.
