For some of you on east coast, dont rule out flying out here, i know people have flown here before to portland, and ridden shotgun with people years ago, there was a guy 1 year from South America. Plenty of people in pdx would also loan a couch, or room, if you flew in day before. The more the merrier

Oops, I just posted about doing this from Washington, DC to Washington. Would love to be able to pick up a caravan along the way and build up in numbers until we get there. Assuming I can get registered for the picnic, I'm doing this trip. It's been too long since I've seen my friends in Seattle.

Some of my friends and I want to go too. My bf and I have been trying to decide if we really want to drive both of our cars from RI -_- and if not, who's gets to make the trip.

If you guys in the midwest can't make it to the picnic you could try an event closer like the 2015 Drive 4 Corners Rocky MOuntain BMW meet in August. Last year ~100 folks made it, furthest I believe was from Chicago in an M5.

Hope you can make the journey! Florida, that would be EPIC! Great country we have, I'll take a road trip over a jet any day!

Hope you make the journey, I had a great time at the Picnic, I try to do road trips at least once a season, there is so much great country to see, also meeting people! The E30 is such a great road trip car, plenty of room for a large cooler and camping gear.
Your car looks great, it'll look fantastic when it's finished!
If you are coming from Alabama that will be epic!

    Cheers!
