dude, thats such a huge jump in tolls. its still hard to justify due to the lack of previous work. there putting in an on ramp to the tp like a block away from mi casa. i am thrilled....

I dont know, They went down through the pike and fixed holes in the road all the way down to about Allentown and then they was going back down through to lay all new pavement. Im happy, atleast the hike of the cost to drive the pike is going to something good.
I have been traveling it since 2000 and it just got worse and worse.
I remember it was 1.25 to go from wilkes-barre to Allentown, Then it went to 2.25 then 2.50 and now 3.15 and this is the first time I have seen them make any kind of improvements on the pike since 2001.
So its great for me since I travel it all the time..

Not for long. They are actually redoing it. Last weekend on my way to Allentown they had the section between Wilkes-barre and Poconos shut down because they was paving it.

problem is the way they redo roads around here it'll be 10 years before they are done... 309 has been under construction since i was 12...

I HATE perkisie. I bought some wheels from a kid who lives out there and it was the worst trip that I ever took.

where in perkisie, i used to live right in silverdale at 152 and 313 and i lived up by the pool in perkisie on holiday house

On Chestnut, right off of 5th. My cousin has a shop out off fretz valley rd....Lots of nice twisty ups and downs out there....Still prefer the smooth FL roads though. The only "pot" holes down there are-----well...Nevermind....lol

these roads will tear you apart till you learn how to handle them, esp compared to the wonderful flat roads of florida... oh yea and how did you enjoy your first curves?

Guess I should join....Living up here in Perkasie at the moment....Transplanted from S.W. Florida...God these roads suck...Already lost my IS lip somewhere...lol...Glad I didn't put on the H&R race springs.

but on a better note 309 by from just before fort washington to flower town is well 3 lanes of flat, amazing, potholess goodness! but every where on each side is still death craters and construction...
