I hadn't watched the video till now, thought I had an idea of what was going on...

that's MAD MAX-style derby!! Looks fun but pretty dangerous at the same time.

It would so suck to get hurt doing something like that, and I'm sure the owner of the 350z on the trailing end of the corner (2:05ish) would be pissed if someone actually hit his car. (Just a matter of when, really)

i had 2 of those trikes. one was mine and one was my brothers. going to see if my grandma still has them, they were so much fun. if not, im sure you could make one somewhat easily if you can weld.

I think they would be more versatile since you could run them on flatter terrain. In any case I cant figure out which one looks more fun, So I want both!

oh man, we had a "Flinstone" Derby at 5er Fest in 07.

Pushed an old 5er from start to finish. One person inside driving.
That shit was FUN.
I'm not trying to brag... but we won. It's a hell of a lot more fun when you win.

That was fucking great. The video on their sight that is of the 6/8/08 race was like 12 min but definitely worth that watch, looks like they were moving pretty good, but the crashes look insane! I want to try that.

this should be part of a large BMW get together. like o fest, bimmerfest, or the picnic. that would be so much fun!
i did this all the time as a little kid. my favorite one i built has a half a garbage can as a hood/front fenders. wish i had pictures.
