Has anyone ever installed a DASC on any car? In a few weeks I should be putting it on (I swear this time), but I am a little nervous because it is a used kit. I am pretty sure I have all the parts but I was hoping there was someone I could ask for help if I get stuck.

      "small leakdown issue"

S50 for $800, 75% leakdown. That's a terrible deal, you have to rebuild the motor. Over 8% leakdown is terrible.

Prolly just rings tho, dunno how involved that is.

I haven't installed one....has anyone locally in the RMC done so? I'd ask on their email list.

It doesn't have instructions or downloadable instructions, does it?

It does have instructions, but it is mostly "Take XX hardware from bag A", which doesn't help too much. I am pretty much going off of that and the few detailed install photos people have posted.

That's why i posted it. You could probably talk the guy down and get an S50 for dirt cheap. Just a thought if someone was looking for a project motor.

              My friend's E36 M3 with his dad's 850CSi Eurospec in the foreground.

Both cars are nutz, they also have 2 E30 M3s (one with a 24v swap) and several other toys.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

All italians. Last year there was an enzo, f40, alfas, etc. It is usually medium sized, nothing crazy. I think it is 5-10 dollars to get in for charity. It's a good psych up for next weeks exotic car show which continues to amaze me everytime I am there.

Its my favorite two weeks. Two awesome car shows, my birthday, my wifes birthday, our anniversary.

                                oh noes, mileage!

there's no point owning the car if you're going to bubblewrap it.
