I rode Valmont after work today, it was fucking ill. I've been riding skatepark so much this summer, I forget how great riding dirt is. That is all.

Ya know, I use to feel the same way but I can honestly say mountain biking with a proper bike has brought more smiles to my face than any dirt bike, quad, kart, or car ever has.

We camped a little bit outside of town, and man we had a good time. I'll have to check out the xc stuff soon, we were just taking the lift up all day. Here's a crappy phone picture of some roadside repairs in my friends 88

WP good is fun, lived there for 6 or 7 years, the XC trail network is second to none as well. I worked at Totally Wired Cyclery in Fraser for 5 years. Doug the manager is good dude and a good friend, talk to him for trail info. Eat at Rise & Shine bakery, my gf works there. I'll be back up there for winter season, and prepared to facilitate the 2nd annual r3v ski day.

On the ski hills? I haven't done a downhill on the slopes but I want to try one that is free, it sounds sweet.

Yeti day was awesome. I got there a little late so I didnt get a long ride in. Took a 575 up apex, which killed me. I didn't get anywhere near the top, lol.

Was riding at Breck last weekend and now Telluride all week. There is some great riding down here and if you want to bomb the downhills the lift is free.

How steep is Betasso on the "cliff" sections that I keep reading about on both loops? I want to get up near boulder some more this weekend but the wife is scared of drop-offs while biking.

Keystone Bike park does. And the Velodrome in Boulder does as well.

Not sure, but a nice downhill-ish bike is on my list of things to buy
