no its not the tabs on the control arms that have failed. it is the literal sway bar mount to the frame. not control arms. where the bar is held on w/ a bushing

I agree with that statement when the trailing arm is still attached to the car. With junkyard arm I'm sure we could make it work, no twisting around to try and get the angle correct. My welder does 120amps with some big electrodes and I can get great welds on 1/4" steel, a sway bar tab would be easy without angle issues.

I'm planning to do mine when I do all the rear bushings...

I have a welder. It's a stick welder, and a pain in the ass to weld parts that are still mounted on the car.

I have the exact same tab missing, makes me mad each time I think about it knowing I have nothing holding the sway bar
If i or we find someone with a welder, we should get it done at the same time right?

When I bought my car the stock link was off. I didn't even notice until about 7k miles after when I decided to do the diff fluid. I was pretty happy with my "free" upgrade!

i wish i could say my car stays flatter around corners, which it seemed to do pretty well when i got it, but rear absorbers are shot so its loosy goosy (+ lack of sway bar)
