Title says it all. Need diff and tranny. Am I better off just ordering online?

YES plus 1 to this. I STILL need a freaking alignment, and i'd rather SCR do it, honestly. But there is NO way for me to get there any time other than Saturday.

You drive an E30. Just bust out a pipe or some string and measure it. :loco:

Pins and measuring tape works too:

You could also have Tire Source in Boulder do it.

on two accounts. One, that since it is an E30, it somehow qualifies to get the diy tape measure alignment. Two, that is totally something i would do.

I never pay for alignment. It is damn easy and super cheap and you can get seriously close to what the fancy laser machines get. I have a set of vinyl floor tiles for each wheel so everything moves real nice. It takes me about 45 minutes to get it perfect.

no reason not to. it works great! You can even dial in more or less toe depending on your preference for turn in/squirrelyness on the highway...

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

We're racing on Saturday and Sunday... So it would be very tough to have the shop open too. Maybe in the wintertime we could... But we've talked about it and have always come to the conclusion that there aren't any techs to work weekends.

Valid paint. Have fun this weekend racing. Girlfriend convinced me to go to PPIHC instead of AutoX, so I wont be racing.
