I don't even want to tell you how tight it was. The skirts were just a part of the bits that the photo doesn't show. The only thing lacking was the wheels.

David, the Ford Fiesta was the shit. I would highly recommend it for a DD. The build quality was astounding. It definitely stood apart from other American vehicles I've driven in. The suspension was compliant, but taught. The shifter was a pleasure. The steering was tight and not too sloppy. The steering wheel was better than the M Coupe, sans the cheap "leather". The stability control was no intrusive at all. The media interface and blue tooth were super easy and intuitive (it didn't have Ford Sync). The integrated blind spot mirrors are something that every vehicle should have. It had some kind of variable cam profile that really livened up the power above 2500rpm. It got 50+mpg with me driving it hard, the one in the states as a 1.4 liter motor instead of the 1.2 and gets 40mpg.

My only complaints (and these are my only complaints) were the brake modulation was lacking. The rears are drums, not sure if that had anything do to with it, but they would go from almost nothing to full braking making it feel grabby very quickly. When you needed to brake hard there was plenty of braking power, surprisingly so. I adapted to it quickly. The "leather" of the steering wheel and dash was very plastic. The rear doors of both cars closed with an annoying clunk sound. I think it was the interface with C pillar.

Munich was the shit. I could totally live there. I need to convert my ratings to ICAO and take advantage of my EU passport.
Or finish up 4yr degree and work for FedEx out of CGN. I'm going to need a sponsor in like 10 years. ;)
