Awesome. I am getting a quote for the "easy" way right now. I will let you know.
Did you use the spacers/cut the firewall?

Brad, I can do it for you. Probably could bust it out in a day. My schedule will lighten up here in a bit. I'm trying to remember my parts list. I'm assuming you will provide the parts. If you can't find anyone to do it, hit me up and we can work something out.Leave a comment:

Andrew put a Z3 rack in his E30. Don't think it took him too long.Leave a comment:

suspension, brakes, broken seat, etc. Can't do everything at once. There is a deadzone, nothing is shaking or going crazy.Leave a comment:

Mine leaked like crazy, I run no power steering right now so it's somewhat dry. however the oil pan leaks so it's still super messy under there. It's not that hard, but I have zero time until winter at best.
I'd rather find a shop that can get a deal on rebuilt E36 racks, put it in, be safe and happy a few days later.Leave a comment:

I know Alex has done it before. I don't foresee it being *too* difficult. Just messy if your power-steering leaks (which every old BMW does). Definitely go for a non-m Z3 rack.Leave a comment:
