If I can afford it I'll be there...though it's a bit up in the air right now.

Just an FYI on the Hastings weekend - be prepared to camp. The state fair is in Grand Island that weekend, so ALL the hotels are full. I got maybe the last hotel room available. The track does have showers on site, so you're not exactly 'roughing it'. I will likely have a trailer of some kind there that at least a few people could sleep in as well.

They also serve dinner and beer Saturday after the event.

If anybody else is interested, Hastings is an awesome track despite being in the middle of Nebraska. Great flow and rhythm. Great party on Saturday night as well. September 1-2. NASA HPDE/TT.
I just spent the night in Grand Island. I've seen the track at Hastings a few times from the air. I doubt I can swing it financially, but I'm def interested...

    Chris,

I saw your lap time on FB, but couldn't post because my iPhone was being belligerent. Fucking well done man. That is fast!

Thanks! Yes, I got signed off at the beginning of the season for TT. It has been a very fun year.

I reset my lap record this weekend with a 1:56.505, good for the TTA record (previously set by me at a 1:58.2) and also the fastest lap of any car at the event this weekend. Needless to say, I am pretty excited. 56's are well into GTS4 territory. The car is working really, really well and the new motor is really stout. I'm very excited to have no issues to report.

I will be out at the open lapping day this Friday, August 10, at HPR. I should be able to give rides and possibly a bit of instruction as time allows. I have a friend coming in from out of town who hasn't been to HPR before, that wants me to show him the line.

    Video coming soon!

Sucks you'll miss the winter park event, I dropped 20 positions by missing last weekend!

Have fun at HPR, are you doing TT this year?

Ah, same day as the BMWCCA Winter Park autocross! I'll tell some dudes at work about the CORE experience, but I doubt any of them will show up. They all drive cars that they don't want to drive on dirt.

    I'm going rallying this saturday

Anyone want to come along? Aug 4th btw at CORE.

I'm bringing my E30, and that's it so far.

For anyone who is new to rallying or wants to give it a try, come along, it's a blast!
