I towed my E28 520i home from the junk yard with it on an over engineered german car transport trailer. The trailer owner towed a merc e320cdi estate on it with his merc e220cdi estate, so I figured the ol' merican jeep would do just fine.

Good god that was one of the scariest drives of my life!

When I do it's either on a track, or really irresponsibly. Hence the cage.
