Nice and bright so you can see all of the paint flaws/flakes/surface rust that has taken it's place. Only one interior picture though because I need to clean it. It has the cloth sport seats with no tears.

Only Jeep I'd tow with is the diesel one. Good price though Brad.

It's more the 4.0's low power. Grand Cherokees are unibody and tow just fine with the V8.

A car? Not very well. And definitely not with the cooling issues. But it does have the proper hitch and stiffer rear leafs for it!

Cooling system is an easy and accessible job on the XJ, no problems there.

186k is nothing for an XJ, easy 100k miles left in this beast.

Good luck with the sale, I absolutely love my XJ and as a person familiar with the cost of Jeeps, the price for this one is a very good deal considering mods and tires included.

Seems like a very fair price, an xj would be a fun car down at school :\

    GLWS!
Thanks! Besides the coolant issues it's been an amazing workhorse. It has taken us everywhere.

started a topic FS: Jeep Cherokee

    FS: Jeep Cherokee

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport in Patriot Blue...yep...full on Uhmerica. 186K

    The Bad:
Coolant leak in the radiator that is leaking on the crappy electric fans. Two of the three fans stopped working yesterday probably from the coolant getting all over them. I will work on it this weekend and should have the three fans going again. It is a slow to moderate coolant leak from the 1 year old 3-row CSF radiator. I have been driving it for over a month with the leak adding coolant here and there so it is still totally drivable. It will overheat on non-highway speeds with one fan working. When all three work you can't run the A/C in stop and go traffic in the heat. Big deal. It works in all other situations. Basically, plan on replacing the radiator and getting better fans if you need to drive slow speeds with AC on in the summer.

Body/paint looks like all other Cherokees. Epic American build 'quality'...ha!

The good (most done in the last three years):
    - Converted to selec-trac AWD system
    - Custom Tom woods front driveshaft. Rear is SYE with Ford DS
    - New A/C system 2 years ago
    - New front brakes done last weekend
    - New front axle u-joints done last weekend
    - Rear HD leafs with about 1.5" lift and no sag
    - Rancho RS5000 shocks
    - New sway bar links
    - Added class three hitch, no power
    - Front frame tow hooks added
    - Sunroof that doesn't work...so moonroof?
    - K&N intake kit
    - Bored TB
    - Good Michelin A/S tires
    - Aftermarket polished (well, so much brake dust makes them not so polished) cookie cutter wheels.
    - One medium sized collie worth of dog hair that I still can't fully shop-vac out of the carpet.

Also, the PO included a lot of service records and work that was done around 120-140k. Bushings, fluids, wheel bearings, etc.

    Extras that I will include:
    - The command trac transfer case and stock rear driveshaft
    - Set of winter tires with good tread left

Summary: Good jeep except for the bitchy cooling system. Fix that and you are good to go.

    $1700

    Tell your friends?!
