Im looking at this 318is and was wondering if someone owns it or would check it out for me, Ive been looking all up and down the west coast and have not seen anything as reasonably priced as this. If its as good as it looks ill be getting a plane ticket out and buying it.
Any of you in boulder want to investigate for me?

I drove that car last week:
- Engine runs great.
- Steering rack was replaced at some point.
- Drives straight, suspension, steering, and brakes seem to work pretty well.
- Seats are torn up in the front (cloth).
- Shift linkage is in need of replacement.
- Love tap in the rear by the driver's side rear tail light, pretty minor though.
- OBC doesn't work
- Stereo ejects the faceplate randomly.
- Dashboard is cracked
- paint is meh
- engine bay is reasonably clean
Overall, it's a pretty solid car, but it needs some love too.

I honestly don't remember if its stage one or two. It can be buffed regardless of the stage though.
I think it would have made it to Seattle. Dent wasn't terrible, but also not an easy fix since it's on the corner. I didn't notice it when I first looked at the car, but when I walked around combing it for dents, I saw it.
Rust was minimal if at all present. It's been a Colorado car for all of it's life (doesn't get much better unless you go to Arizona/Socal), or so I was told. I didn't see much, if any.

I'm pretty sure Alpine white is single stage from the factory. However, being so old it's not to say that it wasn't cleared at some point in time. I've heard that some dealers sent cars out for clear coat when new, either by request or to add the option on the lot. Either way it should be able to be buffed out.

I probably wouldnt even mind the dent if its not too big, it could always be fixed eventually if i decided to make it really showy, but i plan on making a clean DD that looks decent.I honestly don't remember if its stage one or two. It can be buffed regardless of the stage though.
