93 Vert Triple Black but damn has a fishy story. Has a factory Hardtop too $5500 Has a roof rack as well.

Great shape, no rust and 64,000 original miles! I'm the 3rd owner (second owner was my father until January of last year).
    History:
Original owner was from NYC and car was there for 1year when the owner was arrested for running a diamond smuggling operation (no joke). Car was confiscated, given a new vin and sold at auction to a friend of the family. I have the original vin and all of the panels match, but the title has a non bmw vin (clear unblemished title).
My parents owned the car from '95 (under 10,000 miles) on and drove it from May-October, the. It was stored for the winter. I have meticulous records of work done since they/I have owned it.
Timing belt broke in August of 2012 due to old age. I spent over 3,000 having the head refreshed, timing belt, water pump and all tired ancillaries on the engine replaced as necessary.
New tires, battery, alternator, front struts, steering rack and stainless Ireland Engineering knock off cat back exhaust. Will need new brakes soon, and I will replace soon if I have the time/an still driving the car.
Has a factory fiberglass hard top in great shape, though the saggy headliner was removed.
Original soft top is in rough shape, and needs an electric motor repair kit (google it. It's a common failure). Could also use rear shocks.
Selling because I have a 3 year old and even though he and I love the car, I'm sick of loading him in the back seat of it, and the wife doesn't love that it has no airbag or roof for him.

Not looking for trades, except maybe a wrx wagon, or something similar.
Thank you for looking, and please contact me with any questions.

Nice clean example from looking at photos. Seats get stained too easy had some of those. Stripes in the eyes of beholder.

    First The Bad:
Car has NO TITLE, will be sold with bill of sale only.
Automatic transmission was slipping and has been removed for rebuild.
Rear Window in Convertible top cracked and broken. Overall top is in fairly good shape.
Car sat for a number of years outside and needs a good cleaning.

    The Good:
Body is straight and has minimal rust
    Engine runs strong.
    Tires Fair
The Pain of removing the transmission has been done for you!
    Numerous good parts.

I have a 1986 Bmw 325e E30 sedan. The car runs great and is very quick. The car is in decent shape for a 1986. The seats are a little ruff, needs a muffler and a rubber brake line ( I will probably fix it soon just busy with youth baseball). little to no rust but there is some in the obvious places behind rear wheels. timing belt is new 10k miles ago, has good front tires back ones are ok. I would like to trade for a dirtbike or sport quad. Im not interested in a 4x4 or your snowmobile. I would entertain cash but would really like a kx250 2 stroke. please email me and I will get back to you soon. DO NOT LOW BALL ME I WONT RESPOND!!!!!! I know what I have
not mine granted it's in my town
