    Portland: 1997 BMW M3/4/A (88k miles)

Officially submitting this for the "weakest FS thread ever" award (at least in terms of picture content), but I needed to at least get it started.

I have a clean-title, Boston Green on Magma M3 sedan with the ZF five speed auto and lux package. Purchased this car from a friend of a friend of a friend back east since it was exactly the color combination I was looking for. Had planned to do a manual swap but don't have the time or resources.

Stock except for AFE cold-air intake and high-flow OEM style exhaust (unknown manufacturer). Rear shock mounts were replaced and the brake lines were flushed at 85k. New rotors and tires at about 83k. Now has Hankook Ventus V12s on the M Contours. Oil, coolant, etc will be serviced prior to sale. Just passed DEQ and has tags good until 2012. I took it into Autohaus Bayern for a run through a few months ago and they said it was mechanically perfect. The only comment was that one of the brake lines had an extra loop in it from when the rotors were replaced by the PO.

Interior in very good condition, with some very mild driver-side bolster wear and a small area where the stitch has pulled slightly. Door panels look great, wood trim is pretty clean with no fogging (though I'd probably swap it for black if I was keeping it.) Anthracite headliner is in great shape -- no tears, burns, etc. Rear deck is faded of course, but the back seat in general looks brand new.

The exterior is average for its age. I'd say it's a 6.5 or 7 -- I'm pretty picky. Panels are straight with a couple minor rock dings. Carfax shows an accident about four years ago. The hood and trunk were repainted at that time, but all VIN tags match. Had the car on the frame rack just to make sure everything was straight and it measured out to factory specs. Scratch on the DS rear fender that could probably be buffed out, and about an eight inch patch of clear coat hazing on the hood.

I replaced the front bumper cover with a DDM rep and had it professionally painted, since the original had a crack, and the PO had sprayed it with a black texture paint. Some rubber trim pieces could use replacing or refreshing here and there. BMW M Contour wheels have minor curb rash.

All mechanical and electrical functions in perfect working order.

This is far from a show car -- just a solid daily driver.

    Asking $7,300.

PM me or email with questions -- aliber325 (at) gmail (dot) com. Will try to get some (more) better photos up this week.
    Thanks.
