Not that exciting. Just it was a flaming POS, the injector harness kept shorting out, and after only owning it for a few months I wanted to return it. They took it back, sold it at auction for couple hundred and kept me on the hook for 7k.

Their Berco finance (it's still Tonkin) were assholes to deal with, jacked up the interest rate, seized my bank accounts and still ended up getting 10k from me when all was said and done.

Long story short, sold me a lemon and then screwed me for the loan even when I returned the car. So fuck them and anyone related to them.

tonkin mazda tried some seriously shady bullshit with me when i was interested in buying a car last fall

they wouldn't send an invoice to my credit union so that the CU would issue a check and create the loan for the car but Tonkin offered to let me drive the car off the lot and have my credit union send them a check as long as i signed a "back up contract" that would kick in after a few days if my credit union didn't get the check to them soon enough. WHAT THE FUCK.

of course i never saw their contract because i told them to fuck off but i'm sure it was something insane like a 10% interest rate because something this stupid would only work on the financially illiterate
